LINER DIVERTED FOR SICK MAN

The liner Rangitoto has been diverted from her run from Tahiti to Auckland to pick up a dangerously ill seaman in the freighter Hauraki. The Hauraki is sailing from Panama to Auckland.
With 400 passengers from London, the Rangitoto was due in Auckland on Thursday She will now arrive on Friday The Rangitoto has a doctci on board and her agents in New Zealand have received a radio message that she is steaming to the Hauraki to take off a critical appendicitis case.
