Spot” Picton was a natural spot for a tourist hotel, .the public relations officer at Blenheim <Mr A. Beverley* told “The Press" recently “The Government should more than seriously consider one.” be said “It » a logical place " The Marlborough Sounds were the most underdeveloped and yet meet worthy tourist area in New Zealand, Mr Beverley said As far as a tourist hotel was concerned he was surprised big business had not already “chipped in.” “I think in the future they may do so.”
Fire In Wall.—A fire in the wall of the home of Mr M A. Jackson, 242 Wainonj road, was attended by one unit from the Central and two units from the New Brighton station at 23 pun. yesterday.
