Only Possible In Field Of 37
Scoring’ the only possible in a field of 37 the Ashburton shooter, G. Read, . won the Christchurch Gun Club’s skeet championship at Yaidhurst on Saturday. This was the second year in succession that Read has taken this championship. The B grade championship was won by the 16-year-old Christchurch shooter, D R Marston.
The Christchurch No 1 team retained the Christchurch Skeet Teams Shield with the good score of 118 out of 125. Amberley being runners-up with a score of 114. The successful Christchurch team was S. W. Geddes. B. G. Begg. C. J Malzard, C. W. Stott, and S. R. Marston. Detailed results:—
