Lathes fetched from £ 150 to £325, V 8 motors from £45 to £95, hydraulic presses up to £7O, and Bren gun wheels 30s each. A screwing machine went for £4O, and a front-end loader for £45, as did a buzzer. A milling machine brought £225, and a punch and shears £525. An air compressor fetched £3B; a heavy four-wheeled trailer £4O; and hydraulic rams from £4 to £7 10s. Almost 100 boxes of bolts were popular at £1 to £3 each.
