DRAINAGE BOARD CONTRACTS
Two Reticulation Projects Contracts worth £25.174 have been let by the Christchurch Drainage Board. They include the Heathcote Valley sewer reticulation project, first section, and the North road drain, piping and part duplication. Tenders for these major works were:— Heathcote Valley reticulation.—E. O’Sullivan, £13.659; Kiwi Contractors. Ltd.. £ 15.233: Archer and Stopworth. £16.743; J. C. Haworth. £ 17,723; Rush Construction Company, Ltd.. £18.631; Canterbury Pipelines. Ltd.. £lB.BlO. The board accepted the lowest tender.
North Road Drain.—E. O’Sullivan, £9827; Ryan Brothers. £10,012; Jeal and Skurr, Ltd., £10.225; Kiwi Contractors, Ltd.. £10.979: Canterbury Pipelines, Ltd.. £11.590; Rush Construction Company. Ltd.. £11,795: Wadey and Efford, Ltd.. £ 12.043; Smith Brothers. £12,701; G. Chaffey, £13.703. The board accepted the tender of Ryan Brothers.
