Offered on account of the estate of C. J Ryan, a farm of 80 acres at Broadfields, was sold foi £8720. by public auction yesterday The auctioneer was Mr L. W Matson. The opening bid was £7O an acre. There were two bids of £lO. three of £5. and four of £1
The property is subdivided into five paddocks, and buildings include a house with two bedrooms, a livingroom, dining-room, kitchenette and bathroom. There is also a dairy, stables, chaffhouse. fowl-house, and some sheds. A house on a section at 24 St. Asaph street has been sold by Livingstone and Company The property was passed tn when offered for sale by auction recently.
