Jets For Harewood

Sir,—Once again it seems that a very real demand exists for our airport to be equipped with navigational aids suitable for jets nt international airlines. Could I respectfully suggest that "The Press” organise a list of signatories for submission to Parliament, by simply placing a few sheets' of foolscap on the desk of your ground-floor office and inviting the many hundreds of visitors to support tangibly the valiant efforts of Cr. A. R Gutlirey, who seemingly stands alone on this thorny issue. Surely it is patent that, economically speaking New Zealand stands to gain even if regular schedules are transferred to Mangere when this has been completed.— Yours, etc., DAVID BROWN. May 29, 1963.
