In the remaining rounds of the Canterbury Lawn Tenni* Association’* new Sunday winter competition the mixed double* will be played to the best of 17 game*. On tho» first day last Sunday one contest was not completed and other* took too long to finish when *ll matches were plaved to the best of three set* The men's doubles and women’* doubles win «tay as the best of three «ets.
The competitions committee which decided on the change this week, also has reminded alaver* that contest* will be decided on matches then set* then game* and that mixed doubles prtners win remain the same throvehout a contest The unfinished fixture, between Avonsid* IJ and St Alban* t* expected to be cemsteted »eme time before th* second round. wMeh will be on June S.
