Savings Banks' Areas
Urgent consideration by the Government of a relaxation of the 25-mile limit at present imposed on trustee savings banks was proposed by the Canterbury-Westland division of the National Party yesterday. The annual meeting proposed a system of regional areas in which each trustee savings bank could operate.
