Sentenced To Borstal

INVERCARGILL, May 29 Alan Reid Bradnock, aged 18, who was the driver of a car which crashed against a safety post at Dipton. Southland, resulting in the deaths of two Auckland girls, was sentenced to Borstal training when he appeared before Mr J. K. Patterson, S.M., in the Invercargill Magistrate’s Court today. Bradnock pleaded guilty to a charge of driving recklessly causing the deaths of Alexandra Margaret Evans-Freke and Ann Margaret Spedding. two hitch-hikers, on January 19 He was represented by Mr J. Russell.
