A tape recording of the reception given by the League of Mothers in Wellington for the GovernorGeneral (Sir Bernard Fergusson) and Lady Fergusson was played to members of the Mairehau branch of the League of Mothers ait its recent annual meeting. Officers elected were: president, Mrs C. Drummond; secretary, Mrs B. Cunningham: treasurer, Mrs R. W. Black; committee, Mesdames K. Mason, J. Lydon, R. D. Ritchie, D. Searle, R. W. 11ton, J. I. Moore, A. S. Wilson, R. Turner, A. Grenfell.
