“Businessman Not Lazy”
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 28. “I will cross swords with anyone who says the New Zealand businessman is lazy.’’ a British businessman, Mr P. E. Bray, said in an interview today. Mr Bray, director of a stationery and office equipment firm in Kent, said: “I find the New Zealand business life very refreshing. “The businessman here is definitely not lazy. He starts much earlier In the morning than the businessmen of most other nations. “He Is more ethical. In my trade the business here is conducted on very ethical lines. There is no nasty undercutting.’’
