£lm Rise In Sterling
Sterling and other exchange held by the Reserve Bank rose £o.9m last week. The bank’s holdings of gold and overseas investments were unchanged. Net Government indebtedness rose £2.7m. The trading banks deposits rose £3.om and their borrowings from the bank, totalling £o.lm the week before, were repaid.
