Tenders For Frigate
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 13. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today tenders for the building of a third frigate for the Royal New Zealand Navy had not yet been put before the Cabinet. He was replying to a question after this morning’s meeting of the Cabinet. It is expected, however, that tenders for building a frigate from British and Australian dockyards will be considered soon.
