PEDESTRIAN DIES
Struck By Car At Belfast A man was fatally injured when he was struck by a car while walking along the Main North road at Belfast abous 7 10 pm. on Saturday He was Albert Edward Cooper, aged 59. a boilerman, of 868 Main North road. Mr Cooper suffered serious head injuries and died in the Christchurch Hospital at 2.30 «.m. yesterday. Mr and Mrs Cooper were walking south when Mr Cooper, who was on the outside. was hit by a car, driven by John Louis Healey, of Cheviot, which was travelling in the same direction The accident occurred about 250 vards south of the Belfast Hotel and near the Coopers' home. Police want to interview any oersons who saw the accident.
