CHIEF SEEKS TO APPEAL

Solicitors for Chief Anthony Enahoro, of Nigeria, today applied for leave to appeal to the House of Lords against the chief's deportation from Britain.
They are seeking to contest the High Court’s rejection of am order to prevent him being sent home to face treason charges. A spokesman for Chief Ena hero’s solicitors said he did not know when the application would be heard.
Today the House of Commons gave leave for certain volumes of Hansard to be quoted before the Lords appeal committee. Hansard is the official Parliamentary record.
