Some Health Dept. Offices Moved
Several Health Department officers moved thas week to the former New Zealand Forest Service building in Latimer square. They are expected to reopen for business with the public on Friday.
The offices affected are those of Dr. R. B. Cosham, Deputy Medical Officer of Health, and the departmental medical officers; the visiting cerebral palsy therapist; the inspecting pharmacist; the health education section; and the child health clinic. When minor structural alterations have been completed on the top floor of the department’s office build-; ing in Hereford street, the remaining sections now on the first floor will be moved to the top floor. These are the offices of the principal; dental officer and his staff and the department's typists and record clerks. The first l floor will then be taken over by other Government services. The Health Department’s offices on the ground floor are not affected by the moves.
