Green Ginger
Small quantities of green ginger from the Pacific Islands sold at 30s a case in Christchurch fruit and vegetable markets yesterday. The root crop was sought by Indian and Asiatic peoples, who eat it in its natural state. The retail price was about Is 6d a pound.
