Honey Prices Still Firm

During the last few weeks world honey prices have remained firm and supplies are still short, advises the London office of the Bank of New Zealand. Spot supplies of New Zealand honey are nearly sold out, and forward offerings, apart from clover, are still very limited. Prices for clover remain around 170 s to 180 s, with extra light amber at 155 s to 170 s. and light amber at 135 s to 1455. No medium amber is being offered. Australian light amber is now being quoted at 125 s to 126 s 6d c.i..f., with medium amber at 118 s to 120 s.
