Cyclists, Van, Car Collide
Two young cyclists who arrived at the intersection of Frankleigh street and Lyttelton street at the same time as a car and a van collided there suffered minor injuries when they were struck by one of the veering vehicles Gavin Ceci] Rhodes, aged 12, of 86 Cashmere road, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for minor injuries and sent home. The second cyclist, Ross Erikson, aged 12, of 254 Hoon Hay road, suffered a minor leg injury The driver of the van, Mr L Farr, of 26 Jacobs street, was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital suffering from head injuries. His condition last night was satisfactory The car driver. Mr S. Alexander. of 53 Whiteleigh avenue, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for chest and arm injuries and sent home
