UPSETS
The North Beach surfer, R. Dalton, is a very disappointed man at present and understandably so. In both the final of the senior individual surf ski event and the final of the surf ski rescue race at the New Zealand Championships he held the lead practically all the way, only to capsite on a shoot when a short distance from the shore. He appeared unable to control his ski on shoots which would give any other reasonable surfer no cause for concern. Perhaps a wider ski mightbT toe answer.
