When Miss June Ritchie was introduced yesterday to Mr A. B. Callender, drapery manager of The Farmers', she could hardly believe her ears. By coincidence, the manager of the department store in her film, “Live Now—Pay Later.” was also a Mr Callender, she said when she appeared at the Christchurch store's fashion parade. “Mr Callender, here, doesn’t know how lucky he is, for in the film I smash everything In sight In that store,” she said, assuring him that she was now in a docile mood.
