NEW WESTLAND VALUATION

Capital Value The capital value of Westland county has risen by £441.462 in the last five years to £4,275,497, according to figures issued by the Valuation Department, Christchurch. The department has posted valuation notices to the county’s property owners. The last revision of values in the county was made on February 28, 1958, Since then the unimproved value has risen by £18,667 to £864,697 Property owners will be able to inspect the valuation rolls at the Westland County Council office from April 1 to April 22. Mr G. F. Heald, the senior valuer who has been in charge of the revision, will be able to discuss the new valuation at the Valuation Department, Post Office Building, Hokitika, on April 19 and 22.
