COURSE IN AUSTRALIA
Senior Police Officers (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 29. ! The five senior police [officers who will leave next i month tor a course at the I Officers’ Training College. Sydney, will receive lectures on subjects ranging from public speaking to history and sources of criminal law. The officers are Superintendents F. A. Scott (Auckland), F. L. Diggle (Auckland South), G. S. Austing (Wellington), Detective Superintendent J. W. Saunders 'Wellington) and Inspector J. G. J. Fitzpatrick (Christchurch). The course is designed to broaden the outlook of police officers and improve thenprofessional knowledge. Leadership and liaison with counterparts in government departments and services will be dealt with.
