8 Rescued In Antarctic

(N.ZJ’.A.-Reutcr— Copyright) CANBERRA, Mar. 29. Eight Russian explorers stranded for five days by a 125 tn .ph. Antarctic blizzard have been rescued, the Soviet Embassy announced last night. The embassy said the men were working at a geological field base at the foot of Mount Risser-Larsen on Vemadasky Peninsula. The blizzard smashed one of two small aircraft, tore tents to shreds, carried away a field kitchen, and scattered equipment.-
