ALEX HARVEY MOVE
Link With Mauri Brothers (NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 28. Alex Harvey and Sons. Ltd., Auckland, will soon be manufacturing crown seals in partnership -with Mauri Brothers and Thomson, Ltd., big Sydney-based manufacturer and supplier of machinery and equipment to the food industry. The venture will be housed in a new factory to be built in Penrose. Production and processing of the seals will be done by Dominion Seal Company, Ltd.—a new private company with £50,000 capital in which the two partners hold an equal interest. Decoration Decoration of the seals will be done by Alex Harvey, the chairman of the new company (Mr W. H. Craike) said yesterday. Capacity of the plant at Penrose would be sufficient to service New Zealand requirements. It should be in operation by September of this year, Mir Craike said. Alex Harvey has been producing crown seals in moderately small quantities in its Dunedin factory for some years, but when the Penrose plant came into production this would be halted, Mr Craike said.
