GOLD SEARCH IN BULLER RIVER
Suction Pipeline Being Used (NX Press Assoctettee) WESTPORT, March 28. An attempt to win sold from hitherto Inaccessible Krts of the Buller river is ing made by a group of tree men and a woman who are continuing experiments begun last year with an outboard motor-operated suction pipeline to explore the river bottom and crevices between 30 feet end 40 feet below water in the vicinity of New Creek. The senior man in the part'. Dr. Leslie Cunningham, of Auckland, was with the group who began the search last year. Two or more of the party are competent skin divers and the party is believed to have had some reward.
