Mercy Flight For Dog
(Xz. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 28. An amphibian aircraft made a mercy flight to the Moko Hinau Islands yesterday to pick up • fox terrier dog whose leg had been badly broken when he was run over by a goods trolley. ..The dog, Pickles, owned by S* M<hthouse-keeper on Moko Hinau, Mr S. Jones, was flown to Auckland and treated under an anaesthetic by ■ veterinary surgeon. The injured leg was put in a wire truss.
