Cooper Still Champion (N.Z J 3. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Mar. 27. Henry Cooper retained hi* British and Empire heavyweight boxing titles at Wembley Pool, London, last night. He knocked out his Welsh challenger. Dick Richardson, a former European title-holder, in the fifth round of their scheduled 15round bout. Richardson had a weight advantage of 191 b, as well as height and reach. It was Cooper’s fourth defence of the titles since he won them in 1959. Cut over both eyes. Cooper ended the fight with a mighty left hook. IJ landed flush on Richardson’s jaw and sent him staggering to the canvas There was never any chance he would beat the count.
