Britain'* “missing" Old Bailey witnes*. might soon return voluntarily from Spain to Britain, the “Daily ■Jail" reported. Miss Keeler spent Sundiy night at a Madrid police station where she sought refuge. “I am tired. I am hungry, I am penniless and I am frightened." ahe told a station officer. Yesterday the British Consul. Mr Jell, went to the police station, spoke to Miss Keeler and then they left totogether for the British Embassy. Before she left the Embassy. Mias Keeler said she hoped to be on her way home in a day or so, the “Daily Mail" said Miss Keeler disappeared from London shortly before the recent Old Bailey trial of a West Indian. John Edgecombe. aged 30, who wai given seven years’ gaol for possessing a gun with intent to endanger life.
Man Bites Ox.—An angry farmer has felled an ox by biting it on the nose in the Fort Jameson area, Northern Rhodesia. He became exasperated with the antics of his stubborn ox. The wound went septic and the ox died Lusaka.
