Everest Climber Killed
(N.ZJ’ji.-Reuter— Copyright) JACKSON (Wyoming), March 25. A mountain climber’s wife, Mrs John Breitenbach, said today she had received word from the State Department that her husband was killed while climbing Mount Ever-ee-i, the Associated Press reported. The telegram said efforts were made to recover the body, but they were given up because of the large mass of ice covering it A wall of ice collapsed on the climber on Saturday. Mr Breitenbach was a member of the American Everest expedition sponsored by the National Geographic Society. ,
