Threats Made To Captain (NJ!. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. March 27 The second of two seamen charged after incidents involving the vessel Baron Garioch ait New Plymouth on Monday, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court at New Plymouth today to a charge of behaving in a threatening manner on Moturoa wharf. He is Martin Watson, aged 28. a deck hand, who was fined £lO by Mr A. W. Yortt, SM. Senior-Sergeant B. G. Waller told the court the police were called to the ship at 9.40 pm. on Monday when a seaman was making threats against the captain. While the other seaman was being taken into custody, Watson, who had been drinking, used threats to the captain, Sergeant Waller said.
