PACKING AND LABELLING
Standards Institute Code A code of recommended practice for the packaging and labelling of goods has been drawn up by the New Zealand Standards Institute. “There is no doubt that at some time or other most of us have experienced the results of bad packaging." says the institute’s newsletter. “Correct packing and labelling of goods to ensure that they arrive at their destination in the same condition as they were dispached are of vital importance to us all. “It is essential that all packages should be fully an«i legibly marked and that markings should not be subsequently obscured.”
