Boat Towed Away
(By a Reuter Correspondent) SYDNEY. There are more hazards to spear fishing than those found under the water. When Malcolm Saunders, aged 29, and Wally Gibbins, aged 33, surfaced off Sydney Heads they found their boat being towed away by police. The police had been told the boat was “in distress.” Saunders and Gibbens had to swim 200 yards to find a safe lainding point. Later, they found that, while being towed ashore, the boat had overturned, and into the water went spearfishing gear worth £l5O.
