ROYAL TOUR FINISHES
Flight Back To Sydney (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PERTH, March 27. The Royal tour of Australia was drawing to a close today as the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh prepared to board an airliner in Perth for Sydney, on the first leg of their flight back to England. The Royal couple spent the morning on the yacht Britannia, docked at Fremantle. Their last public function here was a luncheon at Government House.
The Queen and Duke were scheduled to be met in Sydney by the Governor-General, Lord De L’lsle, his daughter, the Hon. Catherine Sidney, and the Prime Minister. Sir Robert Menzies, and Dame Pattie Menzies.
The stop in Sydney was to be for 45 minutes only while the aircraft refuelled. Joining the aircraft would be Prince Richard of Gloucester, and his friend Richard Cazenove, who have been holidaying in Australia.
