Milk Plant For West Indies

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 27. New’ Zealand will join with West Indies and United Kingdom interests to set up a plant in Barbados to manufacture condensed and evaporated milk and to process milk for liquid consumption. The chairman of the Dairy Board (Mr A. Linton) announced today that the board was being joined in the venture by the Government of Barbados, by a United Kingdom firm. Northern Dairies. Ltd., which w-as a major dairy products processing firm in the north of England, and by Barbadian interests.

The four groups will each have equal shares in the enterprise.
