Source Of Revenue For Welfare Fund
Members of the Christchurch Returned Services' Association were last night urged by their president (Mr A. S. Farrar) to support the now RS.A. building scheme as a source of future revenue for the welfare and benevolent purposes of the association.
Mr Farrar said the support received already had been very encouraging, but the erection of the building could not be delayed too long. He would need to know by the end of June what members thought of the scheme, he •aid.
It is proposed to meet the coat of the new building by a levy of £l2 15s a member over a tbree-year period.
