OAMARU, March 27. Mr Arthur Shalders is claiming the biggest catch from .Moeraki this season —lB2lb, which be landed from a line in the harbour at the week-end. "I didn’t know what it was. but it was mighty big,” he said today, when describing the tug he got on his fishing line in the
Moeraki harbour on Sunday. The catch came to the surface in the form of a 6ft 3in 13st skindiver from Timaru. He was hooked through a finger, and the finger had to be ent to free the hook. The diver’s name is not available. Mr Shalders said he did net stay round long enough to be introduced.
