MONTH FOR STUDY
New Transport Authorities (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 27. The appointment of new tr- nsport licensing authorities would be announced in the next few days, the Commissioner of Transport (Mr A. E. Forsyth) said in Auckland today. The new authorities mayhave a month or less to become familiar with the act and regulations before taking office. The amended Transport Act, passed last session, dispensed with the four metropolitan licensing authorities in Auckland. Wellington. Christchurch, and Dunedin. The act comes into force on May 1.
