Sir, —In wiriina my congratulations on Mr Adams’s pertinent remarks regarding local apathy towards progress in the borough, may I express the hope that some public support be given before the door of opportunity closes?—Yours, etc., WAKE UP. March 26, 1963.
Sir,—May I commend the outspoken views of Mr Adams, Lyttelton councillor. On many occasions, I and my large circle of friends have deplored the lack of any sort of entertainment for local young people, and there must be many parents who feel uneasy ait the apparent lack of concern on this problem evinced by our local council Surely we can awaken the interest of our Lyttelton people with a little effort, for no better opportunity or incentive has ever presented itself than “The Press” report of Mr Adams* views. Your paper could be responsible for ■ » new era for the youth of Lyttelton. Let us not miss this great chance.—Youra, etc, PRO BONO PUBLICO. March 25, 1963.
