Trampled By Bull

After he had been trampled by a bull in a race ait the Belfast works of Thomas Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., the company’s head shepherd, Mr G J Armstrong, of Belfast road, was treated for leg injuries at the Christchurch Hospital yesterday and sent borne. Mr Armstrong was on a fence at the side of the race when the bull, a polled animal, tipped him off. He tried to straddle the animal as he fell, but it threw him to the ground and started to trample him. Another man helped to beat off the bull, letting Mr Armstrong escape.
