(NJS^.A.-Reuter— Copyripht) LONDON, Febmasy 23 Bighty-two Labour members of Parliament yesterday tabled a motion urging the Government to prepare proposal for a Commonwealth economic and trading policy ’The motion calls on Parliament, while “recognising that the Commonwealth should be the baete tor association in trade and other countries and for trading negotiation* with them, that there is a need for a United Nation* world conference on the means to promote an extension of world trade and economic development" It urged the Government "to take the initiative in the preparation ot preUminMy proposals for a Commonwealth economic and trading policy to be submitted to all countries within the Commonwealth for their eosisideraiion and suggestions.”
