POLICE SEARCH RIVER
After information had been received from a rhotorist that a small boy had fallen into the Avon river near the Avonside Girls’ High Schoo! yesterday afternoon Sergeant G. A. Brewer and two. constable*, accompanied by a diver from tihe Underwater Club, rushed to the river, "the police said last evening that a search had been made, but nothing had been found except a sheet on the bank of the river. It wu thought a- boy might have fallen into the river, but got out unaided.
