CAR HITS TRAILER
Man Killed (N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, February 24. A man was killed and another seriously injured when their car crashed into a. trailer being drawn by a truck oh the main highway about three miles north of Waipawa last night The man who was killed has not yet been identified by the police.
The driver of the car in which the man killed was a passenger has almost completely lost his 'memory—he suffered concussion—and has been unable to identify the dead man.
They were travelling in a rental car. The driver, who is a patient in the Waipukurau Hospital has given his name as Robert Donald Calder.
The driver of the truck. James Francis Sciascia, of Porangahau, was not injured.
