PALMERSTON WIN
Woodville Cup To Roodyvoo (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. February 34. Roodyvoo. a half-brother to Howale. was impressive when he took the Woodvilla Cup on Saturday. Roodyvoo was handily placed in th* running, took charge just after turning for home and ran out atrongly to score by half a length from the outsiders Parl*z and Kilowatt. Kilowatt may hav* been unlucky as she drifted along the back and had only a few behind her at th* turn. Harry Lauder completed a stable double for P. Burgess when he came brilliantly from the back to take the Ruahlne Handicap, running away from Damselle. with Fairasun third. Racing was held In fin* weather. The track was in first clan order.
