MARATHON TITLE
Nine Canterbury Entrants Nine runners have been <*oeen to represent Canterbury in the New Zealand marathon championship at Hawera on March 9 m conjunction with the national junior decathlon and pentathlon championships, Thev are: G Wilson, N. Fleming J. Kenny C. Reece. I. Clifford, T. Preece, C. Saxon. A. Buckley, and W Hobbs. Wilson. Fleming, and Kenny will be entitled to a travel subsidy; the other six will travel at their' own expense. Mr C. R Ogle will be manager. D Reece. R. Steven*. s. Payne ‘were not available.
