The Australian hockey team will play 18 matches in 33 days during its tour of New Zealand in June and July.
Hamilton and New Plymouth have been granted test matches for the first time.
The. itinerary announced by the chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association (Mr J. G. Leggat) last evening is:—
June 28, v. Franklin; 29, v Auckland.
July 1, v. Whangarei; 2, v. Rodney: 3, v. Thames-Hauraki; 6, first test (New Plymouth); 2, v. Wellington; 10, v. Wairarapa. July 11, v. South Canterbury; 13, v. Canterbury; 15, v. Ashburton; 17, v. Nelson; 18, v. Marlborough; 20, v. Manawatu; 22, v. Horowhenua;, 23, v. King Country; 24, v. Waipa (Te Awarnutu); 27, second test (Hamilton).
