HILGENDORF WHEAT
Premium To Be Retained
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Feb. 20 Hilgendorf wheat will again command a premium payment of two shillings a bushel for the 1964 harvest Cabinet approval for the continuation of the 2s premium was announced today by the Associate Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Shelton), who said that this encouragement should induce farmer* to\*ow this premium-grade wheat “Hilgendorf has proved more resistant to adverse conditions than other varieties of wheat and is desirable in the interest* of high-quality flour,” he caid.
