Jury’s Rider On Old Cars (N.Z. Preet Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 30. Legislation to remedy th« problem of old ears on New Zealand roads was advocated yesterday by a jury in ths Supreme Court. The jury found Owes Llewellyn Cadwallader, aged 17, a workman, guilty of negligent driving causing the death of Janet Dale Dennis, aged 14, It made a strong recommendation far mercy. In a rider, the jury expressed concern at the number of old and dangerous can on New Zealand roads, and said it believed legislatioc should be introduced tc remedy the matter.
