AUSTRALIAN CRIMINALS
Many Seen In N.Z. (NX. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 15. Detective Sergeant F Charlton, of the Sydney C. 1.8., left Auckland today for Sydney, after two months on an exchange visit Detective Sergeant Charlton worked to CI.B. offices in Dunedin. Christchurch. Wellington. Rotorua, and Auckland.
He said today he had seen a number of Australian crimmate in the Dominion. Many had been safe-breakers and others car converters and confidence men.
It was Mt until he began duties in New Zeeland that he realised the number of Australian criminals who were in this country, he said Detectives in New Zealand had pointed out to him a number of criminate who were likely to move to Australia and he was sure the visit would prove most valuable in this regard
